First, if you happen to be looking for basic information about Medicare Advantage plans, two government resources:
Medicare and You:
https://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/10050-Medicare-and-You.pdf
A specific Medicare Advantage publication:
https://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/12026-Understanding-Medicare-Advantage-Plans.pdf
Second - Sharing your experience:
Many Medicare Beneficiaries will have to make a choice about receiving their Medicare Services under a combination of [ Original Medicare (Pts A and B) + MediGap (Medicare Supplement) + Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) ] or using a Medicare Advantage plan (Part C) and prescription drug coverage.
The prescription drug coverage may, or may not, be part of the Medicare Advantage plan.
( MAPD ) or ( MA + PDP ) .
Some people have had very positive experiences with a Medicare Advantage plan.
Some people have had very negative experiences with a Medicare Advantage plan.
I thought I would leave a thread where people happening on the site could comment about their experience with Part C Medicare Advantage if they wished to do so.
